February DDD Challenge

Standard

I love, love, love the image that Carol sent us this month. Just look at the happy couple, its makes you smile with joy. This is a Mo Manning Digital Image of Young love. I love the card so much, did I say that twice.
We received such goodies in our package: ribbon, Mark Richards Crystal Hearts, K & Co. felt flowers, recolletion pearls, and ribbon flowers. However, I have enough for a second card, which I will make later.

  1. Wow! Joan, you really rocked this duel! Love how you used the adorable Mo Manning image and mounted it on this scalloped circle for the front panel of this gate fold card. Love how you wove the ribbon in and out of the scallops and trimmed with the heart rhinestones. Beautifully decorated panels both inside and out!! Great job!!!

  2. Wow, wow, wow Joan what a great card and I love the layout. I love how you used the circle to cut out the couple and place inside the doily….and to top it off thread the ribbon around the image…very cue t and clever…Great job on this challenge…so glad we are friends….Way to go on your card!!!

  3. Joan–what a sweet card! I too love the fold you used for the card and the colors are perfect! I really like how you used the ribbon and the rhinestones are perfect!

Great Job–I am glad you are a Dueling Diva Friend!

  4. Love your layout. What a great idea to thread the ribbon through the doily and having the small hearts in between is perfect. What a beautiful and bright card.

  5. Joan, I just LOVE this card!!!! The panels are beautiful, inside & out! Threading the ribbon through the pretty frame behind the image is creative genius! You are so right about the image, it does make one’s heart smile!
